Egan's 10 Year Old Single Malt
The whiskey has been aged for a minimum of 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks, before being bottled at 47%.
Nose
Lively and fresh with characters typically found in Bourbon cask matured whiskeys. Aromas of pineapple, coconut, vanilla, ginger snaps, baked apples and freshly baked cookies.
Taste
Assertive and fruity to taste and surprisingly easy to drink at full strength. Medium bodied and powerful with pronounced fruit flavours of pineapple, ripe red apples, mango, banana becoming spicy and oaky towards the finish.
Finish
Ginger, vanilla and coconut with some oak and wood sap notes.
